[OT] Acer AL712
Following yesterday's post, I decided to take the plunge and buy the Acer

L712 17" LCD monitor for =A3250 + =A36 delivery + VAT from Insight.
This is=
intended for office type applications only...no gaming.

I ordered it just before noon and decided to save =A33 and go for "2-3
day"=
delivery rather than "next business day". That seems to have been
a sound =
choice because it arrived about 11am today!
After connecting it to my PC, the first thing I did was turn the
brightness=
DOWN. Too bright for my liking :-o
It's certainly not as pin-sharp as my CRT, but will probably do just fine.=
