Steve,

I've got a few Opal XL detectors which are 12V PIR's with light sensor
(don=
't have to use). They are designed for lighting applications and can be
set=
for different ranges by fitting a sticker on the lens. I haven't fitted th=
em yet though.

=20

Gardiner Security in Oxford do them I think.

=20

There is also a more expensive version designed for CCTV switching.

=20

I think I paid around =A350 each for them????

We have one of those 240v halogen floodlights out the back of our house
that is controlled by a PIR linked into an AD10. What I would like to do
is power the floodlight directly from the AD10 and then have the PIR sensor
linked into comfort.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of a 12v PIR outdoor sensor that has
an adjustable sensitivity range. Or alternatively if I can some how doctor
the 240v PIR to work at 12v?

S.
