RE: 1-wire chips - they are small
* I've no idea how to solder these.

I used some stuff in a previous job that was a solder paste - a sticky
substance that you can manipulate at room temperature easily enough and
when
it gets hot it all sort of melts to turn into solder. I cooked mine in the
kitchen oven (don't ask about SWMBO's opinions of this) which worked OK -
might be worth a try?

There are 2 type one is 4mm sq and has 8 legs and the othe 3mm sq and 6
not quite legs, but metal strips on the side. I've no idea how to solder
these.

Just received a few 1-wire chips and oh my god, they are small. I have
done soldering before but oh my god, these are small. Any advise on how
best to solder them, before I melt them into oblivion.
