Cat5e can do gigabit, there is no real reason to go with Cat6

Everyone I've heard of has gone with the normal stuff rather than low
smake zero halogen. After all, the rest of the wiring in your house
is not LS0H is it?

My advice is use basic Cat5e, solid core for static wiring and
stranded for fly leads.
