about 1.5m which is about your standard 'box under the telly' config.
And, from thier demo - if the source is crap then it doesnt matter
WHAT leads you use - it wont get any better! so those cheapy dvd
players....

It the risk of sounding like a broken record :-)

I would strongly advise ANYONE to go to a specialist hi-fi shop, even
for "entry-level" products. If you can find someone who is
selling hi-
fi, or A/V stuff because they love it, rather than because they have
a corporate training manual, then this is an advantage.

The independants I frequent seem to still operate on the policy that
a customer for life is worth more than a quick sale, and will tell
you when NOT to buy.

I include Richer Sounds in this - one of my BEST customer experiences
was a few years ago:

- Tell me about these subwoofers you have on special offer
- What speakers do you have, sir?
- <name speaker>
- None of the subs we sell will make a difference, you'd be wasting
your money.

Lost sale = happy customer = several referrals. I must have sent
friends to Richer Sounds leading to several thousand quid worth of
business since then.

If you are going higher end, then the local BADA member is a good
place to start.

Regards,

Mark
