Perhaps not the easiest of solutions but could you, having learned the
full
("start" + "held") code into Pronto, extract the
"start" and "held"
portions
(believe there is s/w on www.remotecentral.com that will do/help do
this),
assigning them to different buttons.
Then:
Macro = "Start" + "Held" + "Held" +
"Held" + "Held"...?

Having said that I now realise you want to simulate a long press in a
macro - and I have no idea how to do taht :(

A pronto IR code definition in has 2 bits - the code to be sent for a
single
key press and the code to be sent for a "held" button. This
second code
will
be repeated for as long as the button is held
Try relearning them or have a look round at remote central for suitable
codes.
