Hardware pricing aside - dont forget the Comfort screen comes as a ready to
go addition to a comfort setup. All the development is done. For some this
is of little vlaue as they wish to have it 100% customized. For many though
the appeal is in using it rather than spending a year's free time
developing
the software ;-)

Subject: [ukha_d] Touch Screens Colour V Pc Notebooks?

Hi, Newbie question,come back please!
proberbly a daft question, but here go's. I was looking at the new
colour touch screen from "Comfort" but gasped at the price £1,200
up
to £2,000 nearly. When touch screens are available for about £300 to
£600. Is it not possible to install one of these and and have access
to your PC??? or am I missing the point all together? If I am is it
not better to have a good notebook Pc in the kitchen linked to
everythink,Notebooks are a lot cheaper.
Any help or comments would be helpful.
Many Thanks Gary
