Hi,

I've read in the past (namely here: http://www.blackfirs.com/problems.htm)
that sometimes if you have cables running close together, you can get an
induced current in the switch wire which would cause this behaviour.

However, this doesn't explaing why you're only seeing this behaviour now.
Anyway, something to keep in mind.
