Alright then, what exactly do you want in an ideal world. I guess if at
least 2 people on this list need something, then maybe a whole bunch of
other people do to, and it maybe worth me making it into a product,
especially as I have a 12v powered amp prototype 'standing by'.

Exactly.

Most other multi room systems have all their amps back at Node 0
which is probably why I'm finding this so difficult to source.  It
really isn't something I thought I'd find difficult to find!
