I guess this will most definatly involve pulling the master house fuse (or
whatever its technical name it :)
Thats a side of home electricals that I have never touched - I've always
been the 'safe' side of the master switch.
IIRC that is somthing that an registered electrician is supposed to be
messing with as does it not have to be 're-sealed' by your electricity
supplier? - (or is there a work around?)

This might be the realy dumb question - but earth to what? back to the
other
distribution board? there is only a live and neutral off the metre...


/me may need to get a spark in to do this - :/
