The other night for the first time in 2 years, I got a false alarm.

At the time I was stumped...but I've since worked it out.

We had just re-arranged our room, and in doing so had unwittingly
positioned a halogen bulb uplighter directly beneath a PIR. Whilst we
were out, at some point during the evening, Homeseer turned on said
light - hey presto - PIR trigger, alarm goes off.

Easily rectified by changing my Homeseer setup....but it just
demonstrates the kind of oddities that can occur.
Obviously a dual trigger/dual technology setup would also have prevented
the alarm condition in this situation.
