Been watching BBC News 24 since it was announced. Same feelings of disbelief
as when the previous Shuttle disaster happened.

They have announced that they have ruled out a terrorist attach due to the
altitude but I dont know if I fully beleive that yet. Didnt Ronald Regan
spend an awful lot of money into research fro destroying things beyond the
reach of conventional weapons.

If its purely a tragic accident then its a cruel coincidence that it happens
to the flight with an Israli crew member on board and at a time when Bush is
set to
obliterate Saddam.

A truely sad day :-(

An explosive cabin depressurisation at that height would have incinerated
them almost instantly.

It's a sad, sad, day, and soemthing I hoped I would never have to see again,
the only consolation is that the astronauts would not have suffered. It's
unlikely that they would have known what happened.

I.
