TPEG BBC Traffic Information

Transmitted over DAB is (will be) the latest traffic information
including
scheduled roadworks , accidents, hold-ups etc . This is also available as
a
trial service at the following URL
http://www.bbc.co.uk/travelnews/xml/tpegml_en/rtm.xml

  For those of you wanting to scrape data or otherwise use traffic
info to
allow your HA system to get you up those crucial 10 minutes earlier
when
there's a delay on your route it's worth knowing about. Still in its
early
days as yet but supposed to link through to in car navigation systems
eventually. I have used it a little with a preset list of road names
"A62"
and town names - also provides lat long info.
