this should read:

The web address had the wrong kind of //'s and the response.write line
needs to 
emit quotes around your url.
Your code emitted:
<a href='javascript:openpopup
(http://www.automatedhome.co.uk)'>http://www.automatedhome.co.uk</a>

it needed to emit:
<a href='javascript:openpopup
("http://www.automatedhome.co.uk")'>http://www.automatedhome.co.uk</a>
