ot:Javascript question

Hi all

I'm trying to pass a url to a javascript function, to allow a popup
window

The Javascript I have is:

//Popup Window Script
function openpopup(url1){
var popurl=url1
winpops=window.open(popurl,"","width=600,height=400,scrollbars,resizable,")
}

</script>

And in the ASP I have the code:
url = "http:\\www.automatedhome.co.uk"
' I had to get a HA link in here somewhere :-)

response.write ("<a href='javascript:openpopup(" & url
& ")'>" & url &
"</a>")

When I click on the link on the webpage I get an error.. does anyone
have
any ideas?
