The delay is actually down to the X10 over the mains from the receiver
rather than the RF bit. It's bearable.
The stick a switch things don't look very nice so I didn't use them. I
find the HR10's are ok as they can be placed around the room like a
remote control.
In fact once explained I think that the HR10 is easier than the
momentary because of discrete dim and bright controls.

Although the main reason I use them is to turn lights back up to max,
which is tedious using the momentary as first it dims down, putting you
in the dark before brighting up. Then you have to let go just at the
right moment!
I wish some of my LD11's did not have the memory thing and just came
back on at full brightness. (I think that the LD10 did this??).
The other LD11 thing is when other people press the momentary, nothing
appears to happen (because of slow start) so they press it again.
What this does is stop the light and it ends up being very dim. This is
very frustrating. Basically it behaves differently from 'normal'
lights.
I guess a faster ramp rate would help.
Can the ramp rate be set using extended X10 commands?

I guess I need a controller to reset things, but that would make things
slower.
I installed all this in 2001 when renovating, now I think I would use
something else like CBus instead.
