Hi,

I would like to use my pc to get the caller id and announce who is
calling.

I have subscribed to caller display from BT and have an lcd unit which
shows the number, so so far, so good.

I have got a CD50 ready to modify but I haven't found the time to do
it. So instead I read the archives of ukha_d and found that pace
modems support uk caller id. I also found a post from someone saying
that the zoom modm from pc world does too. I am now armed with a pace
modem from ebay and a zoom from pc world.

I am trying talkworkd because the archives said this was the best, but
when the phone rings, the software is unable to give me the number.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a different software you recommend I
try?

Thanks,
Stephen.
