I have had fitted and working for about 6 months a Xantech 291-78
"Hidden Link" Table Top Receiver in the living room, sending back
signals to a 4 way block for the AV cab and homevision. All was well until
the plasma screen arrived and was fitted up on the wall in pride of place.
I then got intermitent activity on the system all the time the screen was
on. I now know this was due to the strip light type output that plasma's
produce and was going to change the unit to a plasma compatable one , but
because it still seemed to work ok I have not got round to it. That's the
backround, now the question. It has conk'ed out, dead, broken. And I was
wondering if it could be the constant effect of the plasma that has caused
it or just bad luck.  Any thoughts?
