That's what I had assumed but wasn't sure. I suppose it'll be a "suck
it
and see" situation. Fit the dish and lnb, fit the stacker, fit the
destacker, check the signal strength, and then if need be try to
amplifier the signal at the top end.

What this unit does is to upconvert the second input by 2150MHz so
that the channels sit above the first lot, then at the bottom it
downconverts then again.
That is where the cable becomes of prime importance, the signal send
down it now has a bandwidth of 3.5 GHz which is way higher than
ordinary Satellite cable is specced for. With decent cable and short
runs there should be no problems but with cheap cable and/or a long
run, the losses at the high end of the second LNB could be quite
significant.
