You'll need a pigtail to connect to the weird-ass connector on the orinoco
cards. They're REALLY fecking expensive here in the UK as it's a custom
connector (about 50 quid a tail at some places). I've got some from
fab-corp.com (iirc) in the US. However, ordering 2 with shipping/etc is
cheaper than getting just 1 here in the UK :
Also, the connectors are really flimsy on the cards, and the pigtail will
only stand up to about 30/40 disconnect/reconects before they die :(

The bandwidth is the actual bandwidth avaliable to the internet. The idea
behind warchalking is that you'd not really wanna flag an unconnected
node. Try www.adslguide.org.uk/tools/speedtest.asp for a speed tester that
works quite well, needs java though :(
Or, sometimes a www.whatismyip.com can tell you what ISP/connection type
it is :)

Ah, cool. I'm down in Horsham, West Sussex (darn sarf). See
www.consume.net for info on consume nodes. Just whack in your postcode and
see if there's any near you.

If you leave your node open and don't mind people using it for internet
access occasionaly, you should register on there too :)

BTW, My node name is GeekPeople, if you wanna see exactly where I am :)
