what version of xbox do you have? the version of the dashboard for 1.0
will not run on a 1.1 and vice versa. (unless you have a modchip) your
best bet to get a decent version of a dashboard is scarily enough, get it
off a slayers disk. i dont mean use that to install, the files are on
there somewhere ( i foget where and am very hung over)
maybe i'll be a bit more help when my head stops thumping
p.s. i have the original dashboards for a 1.0 and 1.1 xbox if you need
either of those
