Re: Cable marking ?



My CAT5 has been marked with coloured bands. But the colouring scheme was
chosen almost at random. Certainly, there isn't the level of logic I would
have chosen :-(

But, since I've not yet terminated any of the cat5, I can tell you it's
relatively easy to find the right cable amongst a bunch of a 150 lying on
the floor. That would be a nightmare with written labels. And the tape will
not rub off.

I may relabel with a numbering scheme when it comes to terminating it all.
