RE: A couple of Node Zero photos...

Keith,

I thought I could always add another row below the existing by using some
20mm couplers and more metal clad sockets.

I had wanted to protect some of the sockets locally with a separate RCD,
but
the unit I was going to use (from another workbench) wouldn't fit. I still
like the idea of being able to isolate most of the points easily when I
leave the room while leaving power on to other sockets for chargers and
W.H.Y. There is plenty of room in the 20mm conduit for a separate supply,
which could have a higher level of protection.

I also hope to rack mount everything else, including local amplifier and
music source, so that may help. However, my wife saw the 10 way
distribution
board for the 19" rack and said 'that looks handy, I could use one of
those', can't imagine where ? I don't think she has got over living in
post-graduate accommodation last year where there were only two single
sockets in the whole room.

Nigel

Very nice.

The workbench seems to have enough power and CAT5 sockets for the currently
installed equipment but are you sure there are enough for when you actually
start to use the workbench ?

Just basing the observation on the fact that my workbench has 20 power
points on it and is only 6 feet long !!!!!

Dont forget about the chargers for battery powered tools or do you have
another location where all the charging takes place.
