I am looking to get into PC programming, and attempt to build some simple
HA controllers myself,

I have seen this:

(Microchip's new PICkit1 Flash Starter Kit) and I was wondering if any one
had any opionions on it?

its �35, does that seem reasonable for a starter kit???
