Not IMO it's not.

If latency is an issue forget satellite, it's useless for low-latency
applications.

TBH Mark the only viable options are BB if available or ISDN and, if you're
really daft, BT's new midband which sounded great at the outset but now
looks to be a bit of a sham TBH.
