RE: LV Halogens & insulation.



Stuart,

My builder just used standard plastic drainpipe above the halogens, with
the insulation cut around it. There's plenty space between lights and
drainpipe so heat doesn't seem to be a problem.

I read either on this list or the selfbuild list that using some plastic
pipe in the space above the halogens was a good way to keep halogens
away from insulation.

Do you cut a hole in the insulation or just lay it across the top of the
pipe?
