Is it just me or did you used to be able to actually walk out of places
such
as Comet, Currys, Dixons, MFI etc *WITH* your purchase?

Nowadays it seems that everything has become "Yes, that will take a
week for
delivery.."

When I go shopping I want it *NOW* - not next week!

Dishwasher goes phut ... I want a replacement now ... Not in a weeks time!

The only reason I actually use PC World or Maplin is because I can get what
I have bought straight away...

We went to MFI when we bought the house for some "cheap shit furniture
to
get us going" and were told "That'll be 2 - 4 weeks for
delivery!"

HUH!!!!
