Hi Phil

I share your anguish! No one seems to keep stocks these days, especially
the multiples.
What gripes me more is when they say "I'll check the computer, oh yes
we've got one in stock" off they trot only to come back 5 minutes
later
saying "Er Um Sorry must be wrong".

Cheers

Rob

Is it just me or did you used to be able to actually walk out of places
such
as Comet, Currys, Dixons, MFI etc *WITH* your purchase?

Nowadays it seems that everything has become "Yes, that will take a
week
for
delivery.."

When I go shopping I want it *NOW* - not next week!

Dishwasher goes phut ... I want a replacement now ... Not in a weeks
time!

The only reason I actually use PC World or Maplin is because I can get
what
I have bought straight away...

We went to MFI when we bought the house for some "cheap shit furniture
to
get us going" and were told "That'll be 2 - 4 weeks for
delivery!"

HUH!!!!

Phil
