I have seen the thread and everybody seems to be giving more advice
about why not to buy rather than why too.
SO here goes, I use both a Nikon F100 (normal SLR) and a Nikon Pronea
S (APS) and I can say the APS is great, the quality is Excellent.
All of the rubbish about size of the Negative is that rubbish, the
reason the quality is still good is that the quality of the film used
is higher than that of normal 35mm.
It is try that when you use Panoramic that the quality reduces, but
if the conditions are right the prints are fine. The quality of the
images are down to the amount of light (normal photo stuff) and more
importantly the quality of the lens.
So IMHO go for it and buy the most expensive you can afford, some of
the smaller shops do a try before you buy, they let you shot off a
film to see if the camera is for you.
I would recommend the Nikon Pronea S but its discontinued, you might
find a dixons with one, its a great Camera.
