RE: Taking a Fuji apart

Just thinking aloud....

Could the touch sensitive part be fitted to a piece of glass and then mount the Fuji behind this? that way could you then fit it into a bathroom cupboard?

I have now installed some cable into my bathroom and attached a DDAR but would like to be able to control the beastie but would like to use ACE instead but a bathroom in not a friendly area for wiggly amps.

Having said that I have had the same telephone handset in my bathroom mounted above the bath for around 12 years now and it still works!

Paul,

Yes I took my Fuji apart when I was wall mounting it.  The screen is fixed
to the front case.  In fact in is in two parts: One being the actual screen
(no different from a laptop screen, the second being the actually touch
sensitive part.

If you can find a way of fixing these parts to a custom surround, I see no
reason why not to do this.  The results would certainly be impressive!

Regards

Stuart
