Re: Creative Infra Infrared remote control

Hi Jim,

Unfortunately, in this moment I have only  the Creative infrared receiver device and can implement it in my application. It is a special one because the infrared signal is decoded inside the receiver, using a Z86 single chip microcomputer and transferred to the serial port at a lower speed (2400 baud) using standard async communication. But... the reverse is that it can be used only with the Creative remote or other remotes using NEC type generic protocol, with 32 data bits.
I can offer support for other devices only if I can get one to test it.
The sites you gave me does not provide the full protocol information(unfortunately).
If you can send me the protocol or the interface schematic (even a picture of the PCB from the both sides), then I will be able to support them.

Best regards,
Dan

  Dan,

If you are looking for further hardware to support. I would like to see the
  Irman and PCblastir supported
as i have both of these and they dont work with your software.

Support these and then even i can use your plugin  :-)

Irman can be found here : http://www.evation.com/irman/index.html

  PCBlastir here : http://www.pcblastir.com/

  Cheers

  Jim
