Midband - Reply from BT

Here's a reply I've just received from BT after emailing Pierre Danon...

M.

Mark
Good Morning.
As the person responsible for Mid-band in BT Pierre has asked me to respond
to your questions below.

I can confirm that the solution will be based on ISDN technology and be
available everywhere that ISDN is currently available. This equates to
about 97% of the UK population. We will utilise channel D, but probably
not
on day 1.

I will bear you in mind if we do trials in April / May. We are currently
evaluating whether we go straight into launch (having completed rigorous
internal trials with employees) or do trial with a limited number of
customers. Either way we will keep you upto date so you and your site
members can utilise this new development as soon as possible.
