Subject: [ukha_d] Increasing the REN #

I seem to be almost on the REN # limit for the phones in the house. I have<= BR> the following:

Tivo
Sky
Alarm
Caller ID Unit
1x master
3x phone extensions

There are also several other extensions but without phones plugged in to them.

I don't really want to go down the route of an exchange in the house, I
would rather try and either increase the allowable REN for the house (if such a device exists) or reduce the number used.  I have no need for s= ky to
dial up anymore as I am well past the year, so that can go, the others will=
have to stay, but if I remove the bell wire from some of the extensions doe= s
this reduce the REN for that phone, and free up more 'space' ?

Thanks,

Mark
