I'm nearing completion of sorting out my bathroom, knocked toilet and
bathroom into one, re-tiled etc......
I used Paul Gordon's idea of having momentary switches connected to a
VIOM,
plugged into the serial port of a dedicated pc. The pc is running Girder
to
control the apps on the pc (winamp, volume, tv, radio, etc..)
What I was wondering if anyone new if it were possible to loose the pc
and
use the VIOM to trigger some infrared device to control normal audio
kit?
I can then use the pc for something else.....
My plan is this.....
All AV equipment in Node 0,
KAT5 Switching Matrix..........
The bathroom is then just another zone for the audio, but I need to
control
it.
Hoping for ideas...
Neil
