RE: Mans First Projector

If you are looking at a second hand LCD unit, you need to check the bulb life as replacement bulbs are over =A3300 - which could be a nasty shock.
At least with a new or warranted 2nd hand model you should know what you ar= e
getting.

I want to be able to offer him a few option - eg spend =A31,000 on this 2nd=
hand =A33,000 projector from source of known reliability/spend =A31,200 on = a new
projector/spend =A3800 on this 2nd hand projector and god knows how
good/bad/indifferent it is.

In my case, I bought from a "known" source - Mr Watt.  I _kn= ow_ he is dodgy,
but then I know where he lives too in case it blows up :->

I do wonder though if my MT1, as a 1999 =A33k+ model is any better than say=
the =A31,200 models of today, given the advances in technology blah blah in=
the intervening time period.....
