RE: [OT] A bit of network mail help needed

Think there was a discussion recently about this - check the archives.

However bottom line is no problem sharing PST file - just can't have it
open by two clients at same time.

Other option is to run IMAP server on a machine and serve up mail to
IMAP clients via that - it's what I do at home but still need to share
PST file for calendar etc. Sharing PST file is the easiest.

Folks,

I use Outlook 2002 for mail, I like it and that'll be that before anyone
berates the choice of mail client ;-)

Now, with the impending new laptop (:-D) I need to keep the mail on my
main machine and serve up mail to the laptop. I read in here that you
can share a .pst file, but I don't think that's correct is it? If not
what's the best way to go about getting the mail on the server, the
server holding a copy, and also accessing the same mail from a remote
PC. I would also like to be able to share the diary etc., but how
possible that is I don't know.

I don't really want to use TS as that would just bug me too much for
this application.

Any help gratefully received.

K.
