They're very clever machines.  I have a stack of 3 to my left here.  They're
P4 1.6GHz machines, and I can't hear them over the sound of my typing.  The
way they've done it is using very nice heatsinks (paper thin and lots of
blades), and channeling the air inside the case.  Open it up and have a look
inside.  You can copy ideas from them and channel the air with paper and
masking tape.  It's amazing what you can do to quieten a machine for under
10 pence!
