I've had a chat with Geraint on the phone. His machine should be copying
the original hard drive to the new 80GB maxtor for the next (up to) 8
hours :-)

Important note! The new UK 2.5.5 software is NOT compatible with the
existing TivoMAD software. You cannot use it to backup/restore right now
if your machine has been upgraded to 2.5.5. The only method that works
is to do a bit level copy (ala ghost) to a new drive the slow way and
then expand the drive.

Head over to www.tivocommunity.com for good forums on this stuff.

Geraint,

Go to the AVS forums and click for the live chat, you should find it in
the UK section somewhere and ask in there, those guys are bloody
brilliant and know *way* more than I do on the subject.
