I did send a mildly humorous reply, but for some reason it hasn't
arrived - if you have loads of CAT5 (as Ian does) then the wired
solutions are the ones to go for. If you don't (like me) then the
Siemens units from Germany are the ones to go for. I've got a contact at
Siemens UK and he is trying to find out if it is at all possible to
change the voice prompts for the answerphone and SMS alerts from German
to English. Not a massive deal, but if it can be done it will make the
solution more elegant, although you'll need to buy cordless handsets the
PBXs come in at around 200 quid which is really cheap for a full
featured unit (which also acts as a terminal adapter.

Go to www.google.co.uk and search for ISDN PBX (uk only) and it will
throw up a list of sites with specs of the different models.
