My experience precisely Keith.
Usenet is (imo) killing itself, as people are moving more and more to web
based chat and email lists.
And tbh, I think it's a good thing. the attitude of those self-important
little dweebs that run the net heirarchy is sooooooooo annoying, that I
find
anything that signals their demise a good thing.
The fact that it comes about because of the abuse they give genuine users
(whilst at the same time being incapable of dealing with crossposting or
spam) is just delicious.
