I
think "B " is the more common standard but as stated earlier you can wire
half
of your sockets as A and half as B as long as both ends of the cable are
the
same. Just dont get into the situation of one person doing the panel as B
and
someone else fitting the sockets as A :-)

Most of my Cat5 sockets and my main patch panel
have
only one set of markings, however the last sockets I bought and a new
small patch pannel from B+Q, have markings for Standard A & B.
So
what one do I use in this mixed environment.
In other words what
'standard' is the most standard? I don't want to get them all crossed
over,
for my newer sockets.
