If you are a retailer I thought you had to add VAT to ANYTHING you sell be it product or service.

 

He wont have paid VAT on the purchase and so wont be able to claim it back, but as far as I am aware he HAS to charge it so the goverments greedy coffers get yet more of our hard earned dosh.

 

Li will not be getting the money.....HM C&E will.

I noticed that he's added on VAT, but there's no VAT on 2nd hand goods!
