Tim,

Had a good look at the Polaron system. Looked very good and I did like
the
QED System line integration. I also looked at C-BUS from Clipsal.
Apparently they are bringing out an audio and security integrated
system
very soon. I also looked at an Australian product from Dynalite
(www.dimtek.co.uk). Haven't had a look at the web site yet. Seemed
okay,
with similar basic lighting controls, but no idea of cost. Also looked
at
SmartControls which also seemed okay.

Next task is to get a basic lighting design done. Send it off and get
comparative quotes for each system. I'll be looking to do some of the
design and on-site commissioning myself (time permitting).

All in all I had a good day, howeve it looks like it might have been an
expenses visit in the long run!
