RE: InterBuild UK @ NEC Last day tomorrow

John

The Polaron lighting system I’ve been looking at is on show there.

I’ve got two prices for guidance 800 quid for an 8 Channel 40A (5A per channel) dimmer pack plus 10 grand for a custom designed and installed system for a 5 bedroom detached house. (cf 30 grand for a Lutron system!!)

I’m sure that If you wanted to self install (using a qualified electrician for the 240V side of course) the the price would come down. From what I’ve seen of this system it is outstanding – to quote their sales manager “It wipes the floor with Lutron in a commercial environment”

Two urls you might find useful as starting points:

http://www.polaron-group.co.uk/controls/custominst.html

http://www.polaron-group.co.uk/controls/images/pdfs/System.pdf

If you are interested in QED systemline in any way then the lighting panels can be combined with whole house audio.

Anyone been to interbuild?

http://www.interbuild.com/

Tomorrow is the last day, SWMBO is exhibiting there (oooh, not that sort of
thing, (dirty minds) :-)

Just wondered if anyone else was going or has been, and if there is
anything
really interesting.

Lindsey say's that the one of stands near hers (DW Lighting) has a whole
house AV distribution system on demo. Sounds something similar to the KAT5
switcher (show me the money!!)

I'll be there until about 12pm

SMS my on 07980 733 336 if anyone is around and fancies a cuppa. SWMBO has
a
coffee bar on her stand :-)

Andy
