I Have  4 ir leds wired in series (2 0ff),and then the 2
groups are wired in parallel .
        When i built the proto unit i
installed  a removal link so i could
put my multimeter in series to measure the ir current being
transmitted.

Is this in series or parallel? I'm still string to work out how to
measure the (m)amp usage, I've only got a basic multi meter..
