Pedro,

Should really be no reason but bear in mind that distros such as IPCop are
really intended as 'Appliances' which serve a single purpose rather than
being
multi purpose server boxes.  As you introduce more software there is always
a
risk you could introduce security risks particularly if you run it with only
one
zone.

Also, updates for these boxes tend to toast anything that was there before.
