I phoned customer service not long after it appeared, to complain about
the content not being locked with parental controls, I don't have a
issue with the principle if:-

1) it helps keep TiVo alive, we must remember that with Sky+ out there
TiVo will be the small guy with a better product, it does not mean they
will win, sound familiar

2) they select something to record based on my viewing habbits, (there
is not a snow ball in hells chance I would have recorded that)

3) I can delete it if I want

4) Any programm is automaticly locked from my 3 year old, who uses the
tivo.

5) They will never use the user area of the disk

Basicly it was mis-managed they did not tell anyone what was going to
happen (and that would be easy with the message system), they chose to
record crap, and because they had not told people that it did not effect
the user area they got a lot of complaints.
