Like Tim says.

Install it backwards.

Only problem with that is that then the electronics are on the outside (not
water proof).

I am actually installing two.

Conservatory -> Garage
Garage -> Outside.

I have a mostly open plan groundfloor so the garage will act as a DMZ. Give
them somewhere to shelter / eat etc., but not in the house 'til we're home.
