It supports the commands to send an direct dim compatible device (eg 
LD11) directly to a set level, if thats what you mean by extended. I do
this with a CM12 and Homeseer, I'd imagine you could do it with almost 
anything (possibly not the freebie that comes with the unit, but who 
knows....!)
