 Depends on how confident you are in your hardware skills, but parts can be had from servicesource.co.uk I just fixed a palmtop for someone with a keyboard from there & the service was very good.

I picked up my vaio by the screen yesterday afternoon, heard a nasty click, and I’ve managed to crack the LCD screen.

 

Rather than send it in to the black hole that is notionally Sony support in Europe, can anyone suggest any laptop repair facilities in the UK that can source and then fit the parts?
